The news follows recent announcements by other suppliers, including Lanxess and International Specialty Products (ISP), of increasing investments in the $3 billion-$4 billion global biocides market. Dow Biocides, a business unit of Dow, says it plans to boost capacity of the biocide glutaraldehyde by 60% at Institute, WV. Capacity and investment amounts were not disclosed.
