Dow Decentralizes Management Structure to Increase Agility

Dow Chemical says it has eliminated its previous business division structure and has implemented a global business unit model in order to create a more “agile, flexible, and customer-focused company.” The decentralized organization will enable the company to cope with the difficult macroeconomic environment and deliver on earnings targets, says Dow chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris.
