Cytec, Codexis and Elevance Win EPA Green Chemistry Award

Codexis, Cytec, and Elevance Renewable Chemicals (Woodbridge, IL) were among the winners of EPA’s 2012 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award for work promoting chemical technologies that prevent pollution and have broad applicability across the chemical industry. Cytec won the program’s Greener Reaction Conditions category for its Max HT Bayer Sodalite Scale Inhibitor, which the company says is being used in 18 aluminum production plants globally.
