Cyanco completes Nevada cyanide expansion

Cyanco Holding (Houston) has expanded the capacity of its sodium cyanide solution plant in Winnemucca, NV, by 17,000 m.t./year, bringing the plant’s capacity to 110,000 m.t./year and Cyanco’s total sodium cyanide capacity to 165,000 m.t./year. The expansion is the third at Winnemucca since 2008, when Oaktree Capital Management acquired the facility as part of Evonik’s North American cyanide business.
