Court lifts injunction on Kevlar competitor, pending appeal

The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (Richmond, VA) has temporarily lifted an injunction issued last month ordering South Koreaâ€™s Kolon Industries to halt production of para-aramid fibers that rival DuPontâ€™s trademark Kevlar products. The ruling lifts the injunction until the court can rule on Kolon Industriesâ€™ related appeal and affects a recent lower court decision ordering Kolon to not produce, market, or sell any para-aramid fiber products, worldwide, for 20 years.
