Chevron Phillips Chemical (CP Chem) says it will locate two previously announced polyethylene (PE) facilities at its Sweeny facility in Old Ocean, TX. The plants are being built as part of CP Chem’s planned U.S. Gulf Coast cracker project at Baytown, TX. The company also announced that it has executed a front-end engineering and design (FEED) agreement with Jacobs Engineering to design the PE facilities.
