Braskem to fund methane-to-ethylene demonstration plant

Siluria Technologies (San Francisco), a start-up with catalyst technology that efficiently transforms the methane component of natural gas into ethylene or other longer-chain, high-value hydrocarbons, such as jet fuel, gasoline, or aromatic chemicals, announced on 15 January that Braskem is funding the construction of a demonstration plant at its La Porte, TX, facility.
