Bayer to Acquire Arkema PC Sheet

Bayer MaterialScience says it will acquire Arkema’s polycarbonate (PC) sheet business in the U.S., including the Tuffak-brand line of products used in aerospace, transportation, and heavy equipment markets. The acquisition also includes production equipment that will be transferred to Bayer MaterialScience’s sheet business in North America.
