Honeywell’s increase applies to the company’s specialty grade nylon-6 resins. The increase is effective May 1, or as contracts allow for BASF’s customers, and effective May 7 for Honeywell’s. The producers say the price increase will apply to nylon for compounding, film, spinning, and wire and cable applications.
