The company is divesting the operation to the PMC Group (Mount Laurel, NJ), a producer of performance chemicals and plastics. The move is part of Arkema’s refocusing on core specialty businesses. It is due to close this fall, subject to the Netherlands’ works council’s information and consultation process and approval of antitrust authorities.
