Arkema Cuts Jobs in Canada, U.S.

Arkema says it will reduce staff and implement cost-cutting and process improvement measures at several North American sites as part of a larger restructuring plan initiated in 2006. The company says it will cut staff at its U.S. headquarters in Philadelphia and at its Canadian headquarters in Oakville, ON, but it did not disclose the number of jobs affected.
