Amvac Acquires Former Bayer Plant

American Vanguard (Amvac; Newport Beach, CA) says it has acquired a crop protection ingredients plant at Marsing, Idaho from Bayer CropScience. Terms were not disclosed. The site has the capability to formulate and package active ingredients into finished products for a range of crop protection applications, Amvac says. the company says it will supply certain products currently formulated at the site to Bayer for the next several years.
