Air Liquide plans ASU investments

Air Liquide has announced plans to invest nearly $180 million in two separate gases plants in Brazil and the United States. The company says that it has signed an agreement to supply oxygen for OCI’s methanol plant at Beaumont, TX. Air Liquide will invest around €90 million ($120 million) to supply Natgasoline with 2,400 m.t./day of oxygen. The plant will connect to Air Liquide’s pipeline network along the Gulf Coast in Texas and Louisiana and is expected to be commissioned by the second half of 2016, the company says.
