Air Liquide plans ASU investments

Air Liquide has announced plans to invest nearly $180 million in two separate gases plants in Brazil and the United States. The company says that it has signed an agreement to supply oxygen for OCIâ€™s methanol plant at Beaumont, TX. Air Liquide will invest around â‚¬90 million ($120 million) to supply Natgasoline with 2,400 m.t./day of oxygen. The plant will connect to Air Liquideâ€™s pipeline network along the Gulf Coast in Texas and Louisiana and is expected to be commissioned by the second half of 2016, the company says.
