ACC to Launch Business Indicator

ACC plans to release a Chemicals Activity Barometer (CAB) index later this month that gauges current business conditions in industry. Data in ACC’s newly developed CAB index will comprise demand for a group of selected chemicals; chemical prices; hours worked in chemicals; stock prices; industry sales-to-inventories ratios; and other leading economic measures.
