ACC, Socma urge House to improve TSCA shortly after Senate proposal

ACC and Socma reemphasized the need to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) at a 13 June hearing held by the US House’s energy and commerce subcommittee on environment and the economy regarding the impact of TSCA. The hearing followed May’s US Senate introduction of the Chemical Safety Improvement Act of 2013 (CSIA) by Senator David Vitter (R., LA) and the late Senator Frank Lautenberg (D., NJ.
