Technip wins FEED contract for US LNG liquefaction plant

Trunkline LNG Export, a joint venture between Energy Transfer Equity and Energy Transfer Partners, has awarded the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract to Technip for the planned expansion of an existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at Lake Charles, LA. The project includes an LNG liquefaction plant with total export capacity of up to 15 million m.t./year. The total liquefaction capacity could be achieved through three identical trains, with associated utilities and off-site facilities as well as the reuse of the existing LNG offloading...
