Biopesticide firm Marrone Bio files for $60-million IPO

Biopesticide firm Marrone Bio (Davis, CA) has filed for an initial public offering, seeking to raise up $60 million. Additional terms have not been disclosed. Founded in 2006, the company develops biobased products that â€śpromote plant health and manage weeds, pests, and plant diseases in a broad range of fruit, vegetable, grain, and nut crops, as well as for turf and ornamentals,â€ť according to Marroneâ€™s Web site.
