Soda ash producer OCI Resources files for an IPO in New York

OCI Resources, a newly launched affiliate of soda ash producer OCI Chemical (Atlanta), has filed with the SEC to raise up to $115 million in an initial public offering. OCI Resources comprises one of the world’s largest natural soda ash mining facilities and a soda ash production complex at Green River, WY. OCI Chemical is a wholly owned subsidiary of OCI (Seoul), the world’s fifth-largest producer of soda ash. OCI Resources plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under OCIR.
