US NTP selects draft panel for review of formaldehyde

The US National Toxicology Program (NTP), part of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), has named provisional member of a peer review committee that will review NTP’s 2011 Report on Carcinogens (RoC). The committee is charged with identifying and evaluating any publicly available peer-reviewed literature released before June 2011, when the RoC was published. Congress requires the review as part of the 2012 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
