Private equity firm acquires Cambridge Major for $212 million

American Capital (Bethesda, MD) has reached a deal to acquire Cambridge Major Laboratories (CML; Germantown, WI), a producer of pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), for $212 million. CML was a portfolio company of private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners (Washington).
