Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: United States/Americas ACC’s December CAB flat, growth expected in 20135:21 PM MST | December 20, 2012 | —Lindsay Frost ACC says its Chemical Activity Barometer (CAB) for December was flat sequentially from the prior month after four months of consecutive gains. The CAB grew 2.8% from its year-ago level and is at its highest level since August 2008, says Kevin Swift, chief economist at ACC. The stable CAB reading suggests steady, but slow growth prospects for early 2013. The strongest component of the CAB has been the housing market, Swift says.
