Wacker R&D Projects Include Silicon-Based Anodes

Wacker Chemie, during recent press briefings in Munich and Burghausen, Germany, detailed some of its ongoing R&D projects. Burghausen is the company’s largest production site. Fridolin Stary, senior v.p./R&D, said that about 25% of Wacker’s sales are generated from products that are less than five years old and that the company is striving to increase that share by 2015.
