Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: Europe/Mideast Vopak, Sabic form storage jv6:23 AM MST | November 16, 2012 | —Ian Young Vopak and Sabic have agreed jointly to build a tank storage terminal in Saudi Arabia to serve the petrochemical and downstream industries there. The terminal will be constructed at the King Fahd Industrial Port at Jubail and is due to have an initial storage capacity of about 250,000 cu meters on completion in early 2015. The companies have established a joint venture, Jubail Chemical Storage and Services, in which Sabic holds 75% and Vopak 25%, to build and operate the terminal.
