United Phosphorus Acquires Crop Protection Firm

United Phosphorus Ltd. (UPL; Mumbai) has acquired Agrichem (Oosterhout, Netherlands) from SD Agchem Europe, a unit of Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection (Mumbai), for an undisclosed amount. UPL says it acquired 100% of Agrichem together with all tangible and intangible assets, intellectual property rights, product registrations, brands, distribution networks, and manufacturing facilities.
