Tata Chemicals to Invest in Fertilizer Complex in Gabon

Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) says it will invest $290 million to acquire a 25.1% stake in the first stream of a previously announced ammonia-urea complex at a port location in Gabon. Olam International (Singapore), a supply chain manager and processor of agricultural products and food ingredients, will have a 62.9% stake in the project and the government of Gabon will hold 12%.
