Solvay and Air Liquide Form Global Fluorine Gas JV

De Cuyper: Offering greener option. Solvay and Air Liquide have agreed to create a global fluorine (F2) gas production joint venture to supply the electronics industry. The jv will make F2 onsite for manufacturers of flat-panel display and silicon thin-film photovoltaic products. F2 may be used as a cleaning gas during the manufacture of these electronic products.
