Sibur Completes Divestment of Its Tire Business

Sibur (Moscow) has completed the sale of its tire business, Sibur-Russian Tyres (SRT), to a group of investors including Vadim Gurinov—former CEO of Russia’s largest tire manufacturer—and the SRT management. SRT sold two manufacturing operations in a restructuring that preceded the company’s sale. Those operations are Sibur-Volzhsky, a producer of synthetic fibers, and Volzhsky Nitrogen and Oxygen Plant, which specializes in commercial-grade gas production.
