Sasol Seeks Exit From Petrochemicals JV in Iran

Sasol has entered into preliminary talks to divest its stake in Arya Sasol Polymers (Assaluyeh, Iran), an equally owned petrochemicals joint venture with Pars Petrochemical Co., a subsidiary of National Petrochemical Co. (NPC; Tehran). Sasol says it is in discussions with interested buyers as well as representatives of the Iranian and South African governments to ensure consistency of approach.
