Rosneft Upgrades Angarsk Petrochemical Complex

Rosneft (Moscow), a state-owned energy group, is upgrading its Angarsk, Russia petrochemical complex including the addition of plants producing polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). The company has selected Ineosâ€™s Innovene technology for the PE plant and the Lummus Novolen process for the PP facility. The PE unit will use the Innovene S slurry process, supplied by Ineos, for the manufacture of high-density and linear low-density polyethylene.
