Qatar forms entity to market and distribute chemicals

Qatar has established a company that will maintain exclusive rights to purchase, market, distribute, and sell all specified regulated chemical and petrochemical products produced in Qatar, officials say. Qatar had, until now, forged marketing arrangements with the country’s manufacturing joint-venture partners, such as Total and Chevron Phillips Chemical, for selling chemical and petrochemical products made in the country, IHS Chemical says.
