Merck KGaA to Close Geneva Site; Major Job Cuts Planned

Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany) has announced plans to close the Geneva headquarters of the company’s Merck Serono business as part of efficiency measures announced in February. The move forms part of a program by Merck KGaA to cut jobs across all of its global operations in Switzerland.
