M&G Builds First Commercial-Scale Cellulosic Ethanol Plant

Mossi & Ghisolfi Group (M&G; Tortona, Italy), the largest producer of polyethylene terephthalate for packaging applications, has broken ground on a project to build a 13-million gallon/year cellulosic ethanol plant at Crescentino, Italy. It will be the world’s first commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol unit, M&G says.
