Leading companies complete second Reach registration phase

Solvay and Arkema have each completed the registration of chemical substances covered by the second tonnage band under Europe’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) program, the companies have announced separately. Solvay and Arkema have respectively registered 161 and 123 substances produced or imported in the European Union in annual quantities of 100–1,000 m.t. BASF says it submitted about 550 substance dossiers—more than any other company—to the European Chemicals Agency in the second Reach...
