K+S Sells Nitrogen Business To Eurochem

Eurochem (Moscow) says it has signed an agreement to acquire K+S’s (Kassel, Germany) nitrogen fertilizer business for €140 million ($182 million). The sale is the “best option” for K+S and K+S Nitrogen employees following Eurochem’s recent acquisition of BASF’s fertilizer activities at Antwerp, says Norbert Steiner, chairman of K+S.
