The sale is the “best option” for K+S and K+S Nitrogen employees following Eurochem’s recent acquisition of BASF’s fertilizer activities at Antwerp, says Norbert Steiner, chairman of K+S. The former BASF plants at Antwerp produce calcium ammonium nitrate-ammonium nitrate (CAN-AN) fertilizers, Nitrophoska-brand fertilizers, and nitrophosphoric acid, and supply them exclusively to K+S...
