Jacobs Awarded Contract for Saudi Soda Ash Project

IDEA Soda Ash and Calcium Chloride (ISACC; Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) has awarded a contract to Jacobs Engineering to provide engineering, procurement, and construction, and project management services, for a previously announced soda ash and calcium chloride complex at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The $300-million unit will make 300,000 m.t./year of each product, starting in the first quarter of 2015.
