Israel Chemicals Reports Record Results on Higher Volumes

Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL) says its fourth quarter of 2010 was the company’s best-ever fourth quarter, based on all parameters, and that 2010 was the second-best year in the company’s history after 2008, which had been an exceptional “spike” year for the fertilizer industry. Strong growth in volumes sold in most segments more than offset a decline in selling prices for potash and certain other products in the fourth quarter, ICL says.
