Ineos Seeks Mideast Presence and Bigger European Base

Ineos says it is interested in establishing a manufacturing presence in the Mideast and is looking at several possible investment opportunities in the region. The company is no longer pursuing the previously announced Ineos-Delta ethylene and derivatives project at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, however, “given current feedstock and capital cost constraints,” Tom Crotty, Ineos Olefins CEO, exclusively told CW recently.
