Industry Sees Cancun Climate Deal as Step Forward

The chemical industry broadly welcomed progress made at the recent United Nations (UN) climate summit in Cancun, saying that it marks a step toward creating a global regulatory framework for combatting climate change. Every country in attendance at the summit supported the agreement except Bolivia. The Cancun Agreement builds on a deal reached at last year’s Copenhagen climate summit.
