Indorama buys PET producer in Turkey

Indorama Ventures (Bangkok) says that it has acquired all of the shares in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin producer Artenius TurkPET (Adana, Turkey). Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Artenius has a production capacity of 130,000 m.t./year. The acquisition follows Indorama’s announcement in April that it would acquire Sasa Polyester Sanayi (Adana), a leading polyester and PET producer.
