Germany Raises Questions About BPA’s Safety Profile in Europe

A study published by Umweltbundesamt (UBA; Dessau-Rosslau, Germany), the German federal environment agency, has identified potential hazards associated with the use of bisphenol A (BPA). Industry groups say the study, Bisphenol A – a Chemical with Adverse Effects Produced in Large Quantities, contradicts established safety assessments by European agencies.
