Eleven More Substances Proposed for Reach List

Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands have proposed that 11 more chemicals be classified as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and become candidates for authorization under the European Union’s (EU) Reach legislation. The substances have been proposed because of their potentially serious effects on human health or the environment, the three countries say. Stakeholders have until October 14, 2010 to comment on the proposals.
