EFSA launches public consultation on pesticides methodology

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) has launched a public consultation on its recently published methodology for identifying pesticides to be included in cumulative assessment groups on the basis of their toxicological profiles. The methodology is based on grouping pesticides that exhibit similar toxicological properties in a given organ or system. The panel on plant protection products and their residues recommends that the methodology be implemented for all major organs/organ systems, although the approach should be considered to be specific...
