ECHA invites comments on hazard classification and labeling for DIBP

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has invited comments on a proposal to amend the hazard classification and labeling (CLH) for diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), the agency says. DIBP is used as a plasticizer for nitrocellulose, cellulose ethers, and polyacrylate and polyacetate dispersions. The public consultation will be open for 45 days and will end on 9 May. Comments received will be compiled into a list that will be annexed to the opinion of the committee for risk assessment (RAC), ECHA says. RAC will form an opinion only on the hazard classes that...
