DyStar Sells Production Site in Germany

CBW Chemie (Bitterfeld Wolfen, Germany) and WeylChem Group (Frankfurt) have agreed jointly to acquire DyStarâ€™s (Frankfurt) production site at BrunsbÃ¼ttel, Germany. Completion of the deal is due in October 2010. The site forms part of the Bayer Industrial Park at BrunsbÃ¼ttel and currently produces mainly reactive dyes. It has 2,500 cu meters of reactor capacity for the production of up to 25,000 m.t./year of dyes. It also has reactor trains for halogen exchange and for reactions with phosgene.
