Chemspec: Fine and Specialty Chemical Outlook Mixed

The outlook for fine and specialty chemicals is mixed, according to exhibitors and visitors interviewed by CW at the Chemspec Europe conference and exposition, held recently in Barcelona. The general consensus is that demand for agchem intermediates continues to grow, and that demand for pharmaceutical intermediates is flat or slightly up.
