Celanese and Sasol announce plant closures in Europe

Celanese has announced that its French and Spanish subsidiaries have informed the company’s employee delegates at Roussillon, France, and its works council at Tarragona, Spain, of the subsidiaries’ intention to initiate an information and consultation process on the closure of the acetic anhydride manufacturing facility at Roussillon and the vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) production unit at Tarragona.
