Celanese Confirms Permanent Closure Of Acetyls Complex in France

Celanese has confirmed that it will permanently close its acetyls complex at Pardies, France with the loss of 354 jobs. The company did not announce a date for the closure. The Pardies complex has a “high cost structure” and is no longer economically viable, Celanese says.
