Cefic: Carbon dioxide is renewable feedstock

The use of carbon dioxide (CO2) as a renewable resource in the chemical industry can be a key strategy to support the sustainable development and future competitiveness of the chemical sector in the European Union, Gernot Klotz, executive director/research and innovation at Cefic, said at the opening session of the recent Carbon Dioxide Utilization Summit at Brussels.
