Borealis Eyes Site Master Plan; Likely to Leapfrog Other Players

Borealis is working on a master plan for its European sites as part of an ongoing scrap-and-build program, CEO Mark Garrett tells CW. He was speaking on the sidelines of a recent ceremony to inaugurate Borealis’s 350,000-m.t./year low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Stenungsund, Sweden, the company’s largest ever investment in Europe (CW, May 31/June 7, p. 16).
