BASF Upbeat on Plastics; China Boosts Growth

BASF is upbeat about prospects for the plastics industry and says that the companyâ€™s core plastics portfolio will generate global growth of 5%-6%/year. â€śBASF will in addition grow at 2% above the market,â€ť said Martin BrudermĂĽller, board member and deputy chairman-elect at BASF, at a recent pre-K plastics show press briefing, held at Frankenthal, Germany.
