BASF Upbeat on Plastics; China Boosts Growth

BASF is upbeat about prospects for the plastics industry and says that the company’s core plastics portfolio will generate global growth of 5%-6%/year. “BASF will in addition grow at 2% above the market,” said Martin Brudermüller, board member and deputy chairman-elect at BASF, at a recent pre-K plastics show press briefing, held at Frankenthal, Germany.
